The post-conference proceedings of CLADAG-2005 will be published in the Springer Series “Studies in Classification, Data Analysis, and Knowledge Organization”. The proceedings volume will contain refereed versions of selected papers presented during the meeting. Due to space constraints, we could only accept approximately 50 out of the 130 presented papers. Extended papers should reach the Local Organizing Committee by October 15, 2005. However, due to several requests, the final deadline is postponed to October 31, 2005. Papers submitted after October 31 will not be considered for publication in the proceedings volume. Authors willing to submit an extended paper must send it by e-mail to Prof. Sergio Zani (Chairman of the Scientific Committee) at the following address: The paper must be sent as an attachment in PDF-Format. Source files are not needed at this stage, but will be required upon acceptance of the paper in the proceedings volume. Extended papers must not exceed 8 pages. They must be written in English and formatted in LaTeX according to the guidelines given below. Please, use the style file cladag2005.cls and standard fonts only. Do not include other packages than:
